Randy Richards

In 2002 Randy Richards started creating photography pieces combining 2 images juxtaposed and shot of the same scene but at different times. He uses side-by-side images as well as cubes to combine the images. His work has influenced both fine art and commercial art worldwide.

Prior to 2002, Richards began creating these connected, juxtaposed images as a series of paintings in 1996. These paintings evolved into his current photography work in 2002.

He's exhibited in the lower east side Manhattan and at museums and galleries in New York City and Connecticut. He won many awards including best of show MMOA Mystic Museum of Art in 2022, and where his piece can be seen at the museum through December.
